The classic Filippi is the colomba par excellence: an authentic synthesis of tradition and genuineness of the ingredients. Butter, flour, eggs and vanilla berries are expertly mixed to form an irregular crumb typical of natural leavening. Cubes of candied
orange peel enrich and smell a soft dough with a delicate taste. The glaze is rich and crunchy, obtained by mixing precious almonds, sugar and egg white.
Great care also for wrapping to make beautiful what is good. Each colomba is hand-made with opaque wrapping and gros grain ribbon with rubberized embossed screen prints.
