Colomba with candied cherries
A mixture of fresh eggs, brown sugar and honey, naturally flavored with Bourbon vanilla berries from Madagascar and made to rise with Flippi sourdough, jealously guarded and kept alive with regular daily refreshments for 40 years. To this traditional recipe we have added many whole cherries, irregularly shaped because they are still pitted fresh, candied for several weeks naturally. A delicious colomba, with a delicate bouquet and a sweet flavor, but at the same time pleasantly sour.
